Our Story
It all began in the ocean …
Like all great inventions, Mobilus has a great origin’s story. No spoilers … but it involves our founder Jordan McRae almost dying while SCUBA diving off the coast of Mozambique. The result, a highly motivated team of engineers and designers with a passion to reinvent voice communications even for the most extreme environments.
Our Story
What Drives Us
We believe that voice is the most fundamental and natural means for communication.
However, we’re still operating with a 150 year old paradigm to communicate at distance. Some device in your hand or stuck to the side of your face, something stuck in or over your ears, and a microphone as close to your mouth as possible. Where does that leave us today: super computers in our pockets, i.e. smartphones, where the phone is the least smart thing about it. Mobilus changes all of this with a wearable, hands free, ear free voice platform.

The Mobilus team is an incredibly diverse group of Engineers and Designers from all over the world.
We are united by our passion and experience to build game changing voice first technologies. To meet our ambitious goals, we leverage a wealth of experience coming from some of the most innovative companies and institutions around the world including M.I.T, Imperial College, Lockheed Martin, Samsung, LG, Vonage, and NASA.
We’re product focused, prototyping early and fast on both our hardware and software and test continuously and fearlessly against the most extreme conditions. We’re not happy until we’ve found new ways to create something in our products that’s almost indistinguishable from magic!
